It activates when the water level reaches 5/8" and continues to run for 20 seconds after the water level falls below 1/3" before shutting off automatically. The pump is also equipped with a bottom suction design that allows it to remove water down to just 1mm, making it perfect for draining the last bit of water from flat surfaces.

For safety and reliability, the pool cover pump includes a smart temperature controller with thermal overload protection. When the motor temperature reaches 105℃/221℉, the pump will automatically shut down to prevent overheating. After cooling down, the pump can be used again without any issues. The automatic on/off feature and thermal overload protection help prevent dry burn damage to the pump. This means that the AGIIMAN sump pump can be left unattended to remove standing water throughout the entire winter without any worries.
